Kenneth Roepe, MIES, LEED AP
Principal
Kenneth discovered his passion for lighting design while pursuing a degree in Industrial Design Technology. He continued to explore this passion through an architectural design track which has given him a keen understanding of the relationship between lighting and architecture. His lighting design philosophy is architecture and lighting design as an interdependent, symbiotic relationship. Architectural integration and a collaborative design approach are the methods Kenneth uses to ensure realization of his philosophy towards architecture and lighting.
Kenneth has over 17 years of experience in the lighting industry, with 13 of those designing a multitude of project types including commercial development, corporate office space and campuses, education, multi-family housing, civic, government, aviation, health care, and public artworks.
Kenneth enjoys the process of seeing a project through from concept to construction while balancing aspects of functionality, maintenance, sustainability, cost, architectural integration, and aesthetics.
